An explanation from Quran and Hadith on how to get more out of Ramadan. The lecture gives an understanding of the various benefits of fasting.
Having spent 15 years learning foundational sciences from spiritual masters, Dr Pirzada has received ijaza (permission) to teach classical texts of Islam. He holds a PhD in Sufism at the University of Birmingham. Pirzada’s PhD thesis explores the study of the writings of Ahmadou Bamba, a Senegalese sheikh who died in 1927 and founded the Mouridiyya Tariqa. As a linguist, he has mastered Arabic, Farsi & Urdu, and is well versed in Latin and Hebrew.
