Truth Speakers Poetry Writing workshops with Sukina Pilgrim
This poetry workshop will guide towards using poetry to speak from a place of truth and sincerity. The skills learnt will be of value in your poetry and beyond.
Throughout time people have used poetry to convey their true feelings and take over where everyday words fail. Whether it is in the form of love poetry, words written to speak out against injustice or to channel ones true feelings – poetry has always played a role in expressing the truth.
There is something about putting pen to paper inspired by a truthful heart that creates powerful art and when truth speaks impressive poetic techniques are insignificant.
This workshop is designed to assist writers to access their true voice, honour their truth and incorporate this into sincere poetry.
You will gain:
*Writing Skills and Techniques
*Creative Writing exercises
You will leave with 2/3 pieces of poetry.
This course is designed to activate the inner poet within. More importantly though, this course is designed to assist the voice of the truth and guide you towards using yourself, your life, your emotions and experiences as your own muse.
At times when it can be hard to truly articulate how one feels poetry can play a role in being that voice of truth.
