In a world where people are confused in seeking the true spiritual path for enlightenment. Many confuse spirituality and work to fulfill the needs of their desires. Rather then uplifting their souls, although this question has been answered a long time ago through enlightened men and women of the highest spiritual eminence such as Ibrahim Ibn Adthaam & Rabia al Adawia. The needs arise for clarifying this issue once and for all.

What is Tasawuf, who are the Sufis and their role in spiritual uplifting and enlightenment? This lecture series aims to understand the reality of the self ‘ego’ or ‘nafs’ as used of sufi terminology in and authentic spirituality. Its essence, aims and true way of seeking and practices will be explored with a respected scholar Sheikh Ahmed Babikir.

About Sheikh Ahmed Babikir:
Born in Sudan, is a descendent of the renowned companion of the Prophet (PBUH) Abu Bakr as-Siddiq. He is a classically trained Islamic Scholar, Teacher & Public Speaker.

He trained in the full course of traditional Islamic Sciences including Maliki Fiqh (Jurisprudence), Tafsir (Exegesis), Aqidah (Theology), Hadith (Prophetic Traditions), ta’wil ahadith (dream interpretation) and tasawwuf (Sufism)

He is well known and respected for his approach and message of Compassion & Mercy.

Sheikh Babikir is the founder of Rumi’s Cave.
