This month we'll be joined by Zohab Zee Khan!
Zohab is an exceptional poet, motivational speaker and educator. As a 4th generation Australian of Pakistani heritage, Zohab seamlessly integrates Urdu and Punjabi into his artistic work as he confronts a range of issues from addictions, racism, inequality, and socio-economic disparities.
Cave Open Mic is the cross-arts performance event run by Rumi's Cave, a community hub and charity initiative based in North West London. Inspired by the poet and scholar, Jalaluddin Rumi, Rumi's Cave uses the values of love and community to serve the socially isolated, vulnerable and homeless in the local community.
Root25 is the beautiful East London coffee house run by Restless Beings, who are an international human rights organisation and charity supporting the world's most marginalised communities.
Not only will this be a great of inspiration, but you'll be supporting artists and incredible grassroots organisations.
Open mic sign up at 6pm. Event from 6.30-8.30pm.
