A talk and discussion about the current situation in Kashmir with a focus on enforced disappearances and the story of Parveena Ahangar followed by some poetry from Kashmir.
Parveena Ahangar is a prominent Kashmiri human rights activist and the founder of the Association of Parents of the Disappeared Persons. In the early 90’s her son was taken by Indian forces and never returned. She has spent over two decades searching for her son and leading the families of the disappeared in a campaign for answers, internationally.
